Summer
Summer has officially arrived as of this past Saturday with the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. As a lifelong New Englander, the changing of the seasons can sure make life interesting. We had a very harsh winter, and I personally do not remember spring ever arriving at all.
Spring and Summer are my favorite times of the year for many reasons, good weather, fishing, grilling, too many to list in this Blog!
Summer is definitely my two children’s favorite time of year, school has officially ended yesterday, and we are all looking forward to hitting the road for our annual Independence Day family vacation. Studies have shown that after a harsh winter more and more people will be driving their vehicles to their destinations this summer. This AAA study in particular is a very informative one in relation to travel by automobile in 2014.
As I prepare for my families excursion next week, I always include a pre-trip check of our automobile. With everyone always on the go, sometimes the car can get forgotten until the last minute. A family vacation should be a stress free time to recharge and relax with our loved ones, not a time to have an issue with the transportation piece of the whole travel experience. Here at Mass Tire/Windsor Tire, we can help assure that your family getaway will be safe, and hassle free. All of our locations offer a free courtesy check, free air pressure and tire checks, and most of the time we can do this without an appointment. We can also evaluate your vehicle and assist you in attaining your vehicles optimal fuel mileage for those long vacation drives. Here are some helpful tips on achieving your vehicles best gas mileage on your own. Please take advantage of our services, call for an appointment, or just stop by any of our locations before you hit the road. Thanks for checking in, and feel free to post pics of your summer destinations on any of our stores Facebook pages, we would love to see them!
